Having grown up in the 80s I love neon lighting so was keen to get hold of this Welcome sign.It s what I would call a medium size and comes boxed with protective sheeting covering one side of the acrylic the back despite a label claiming there was protection on both sides.There were no corners peeling away so I found it a little tricky to peel off.It s really important to me not to get scratches on the acrylic plate but there were a few small scuffs there already these are not visible when the light is on though,as it s bright. The sign is USB powered,with a cable coming from the back ending in a USB A connector.On the cable is an on off switch and brightness up down controls.No power supply is provided so I used a USB hub but the light can also run off a power bank.There are two holes at the top of the acrylic and two adhesive backed hooks are provided with a chain,so the sign can be hung up. I was very pleased that the cable doesn t come directly down out of the sign so it can easily be leaned against a wall albeit not securely I like the design apart from only having the C in WELCOME green.The green and yellow are the brightest colours but cover the least surface area.Pink and blue are my favourite colours for neon style lighting but in terms of visual impact I would have preferred the OPEN text in pink
