I found some landscape lights I liked and needed a transformer. 300W was plenty in case I add more lights. The photocell is a nice add,so I don t need to use a smart plug and do programing.This is truly plug and play with easy menu system and wire attachments at the bottom. All for less than $100 at time of purchase.If it holds up,I ll be super happy.

Our old low voltage light controller stopped working after a lightning storm and this replacement has been a pleasure.The old one relied on placing pegs in a dial for on and off,as well as having to manually reset for Daylight Savings Time and changes in sunset.This box gives you the option of timing your lights by the internal clock or coming on at dark as well as staying on until light or until a selected time. Programming was easy. Well worth the cost.
