I bought this product to extend some solor light panels for my solar deck lights. My deck is in the shade and I need to move out 50 plus feet to get full sun. I am in the process of making the fixtures to hold the lights on the railing. This heavy duty wire gauge is exactly what I needed. I bought 4 reels. Hoping it's enough. Will post pictures of finished product. Looks like really great wire.
Being that it is 5 conductor, it s a bit too large to fit in my regular wire stripper so I had to play around a bit with technique for removing the outer jacket which is quite rugged. Found the best method was using my knife.
Once you get the jacket off the insulation was easy to remove.
This is a nice flexible wire to use when you need those five conductors.
The 18AWG3 Wiring looks very strong and well made
Used to connect emergency lights in grill to dash switches. Easy to route, threads through small openings, and quickly attached to Anderson Power Poles. Great connector.
I had the chance to check out this 18 Gauge 3 Conductor Electrical Wire, a 16.5FT 2464 18AWG cable with a PVC coating and stranded tinned copper.
The cable feels and looks well made, showing no issues in quality. This wire is made for low voltage applications and extension cords, for example. In my opinion this if suitable for those in need of such a cable and I would recommended it for its quality and value for cost.
