I ve used this transformer to power an outdoor 50 bulbs string; the original one had multiple functions and a remote, but didn t last long. This transformer is more powerful and theoretically would allow to add more lights if needed. My connection is rather simple and without a dimmer,so can t comment on that functionality & compatibility. The junction box has knockouts which appear to be slightly larger than standard,at least the inserts I had fit quite loose,so had to use al electrical tape to further secure them.Time will tell if it s truly waterproof and how reliable it is.

Held up well under the stresses.

Standard normal light dimmer switch works perfect. Using this with landscape lights 12V LED and a light switch by the back door. Lets me dim the lights to barely on, just enough to walk around. But I can throttle up to the full 12V.

The 0-10V is more of a commercial control on the dimming. Don't need to use it. Cap the wire and forget about it. For use with a dimmer, just treat this as a regular light bulb and it works perfect. Don't over think it, it really is that simple.

I was powering two 2815 strips with a 5 amp power supply. I thought this would be sufficient as they pulled 3.6 amps, however I was getting odd flickering on the lights on occasion.

This 100W Dimmable LED Driver solved my issue. I tested it out before mounting and found it provides a fairly steady 11.9 volts. The dimmable leads have little rubber protectors on them in case they are not used. They are supposedly compatible with several types of dimmers, but not the style I had on hand. However I used it for a project that had dimming built into the controller. I may get a new dimmer before the next project.

The case is well built and the electronics inside are sealed, however mine did have a slight gap in this waterproofing. See picture with the additional plastic wrap and box this should not be an issue. Overall the supply was easy to install and performed well.
