Working great as the low voltage source for lighting fixtures we added to our winter house front garden.Installed at a protected location,of course.The low voltage wiring can be run out into the weather,but this product needs a dry place to live.
Dimmable 24 volt power supply we used a Lutron dimmer
100 watts used as suggested about 80 watts total for the under cabinet lights in the kitchen. Being able to dim them allows a soft glow which is perfect. And then brighten for task lighting
It s UL listed, and rated for damp locations.
Nicely designed and engineered, comes with a wiring diagram as well as a screwdriver, screws, etc. Easy to install.
As well, it has built in short circuit, overload and excessive temperature protection.
Worked as expected.Heavy duty metal construction was impressive.Easy access to wiring.We ve not used the dimming feature so I can t speak to that.But otherwise it hooked up super easy to our LED path lights.
I m trying out various LED lights: COB, 5CCT, CRI 90+. RGBW etc.. for indoor and outdoor applications. This one is for 24V, 100W LED s. These can be controlled from a standard wall dimmer and switch rather than needing separate wiring for a low voltage dimmer or a secondary controller after the DC output. So this is what you would use for a dimmable kitchen cabinet accent light system. Or on the Lanai as it is IP67 rated for outdoor use. It has proper strain relief connectors and feels well made. This is for a permanent installation of the quality a licensed electrician would install for you. The box doesn t get warm in the least after days of use. Highly recommended for permanent LED installations.
This dimmable LED driver is well made from quality materials. It appears durable and rugged. The unit is rated for use outdoors. It was easy and quick to install. The unit arrived with easy to understand and follow instructions. A great feature is that it is dimmable. It also provides enough reliable constant power to illuminate a decent amount of lights. Another great feature that should not be overlooked is the UL listing. This provides added peace of mind as to the safety with use of this product. The item is as described by the seller. I am very pleased with this product and believe you will be as well. Therefore, Dr. T. highly recommends this product!!
