I have a rather large landscape lighting system and it includes a ton of Christmas lights and I am at the point of max capacity on the transformer so we are gonna try this transformer to reduce some of the capacity and split the system. The 48V power supply features a durable aluminum alloy shell for heat dissipation, stability, and reliability, with an IP67 waterproof design for use in harsh conditions involving moisture, humidity, or water. Hopefully it stands up to the ever change in weather here whether it is too much rain or too hot. We will see how this works out. It converts 110V AC to 48V DC, with an output of 48V DC at 8.33A (400W). To maintain optimal performance, it is recommended that the power used not exceed 80% of the power rating. It includes automatic protections against short circuits, overloads, over-voltage, over-current, and high temperature, with a hiccup mode for auto-recovery. Packaging states the transformer operates safely in temperatures from -20�� to +60�� and humidity levels of 20% to 90% RH (non-condensing), ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments.

This power driver is well made from quality aluminum alloy. It appears durable and rugged. The unit is plug and light ready. The unit provides an impressive amount of 48v power. The seller is even kind enough to include the butt wire connectors. The seller claims the unit to be weather resistant, but I would reccomend protecting it from the elements. Dimming is not an available function with this unit. The item is as described by the seller. I am pleased with this product and believe you will be as well.
