We just a finished a job that required wire runs for under counter lighting pictured. This three conductor wire was perfect and priced much cheaper than the big box stores. Thick insulation and an easy stripping made the install a breeze.
I probably used this off label but I needed a run of low wattage speaker wires to run around the side of my house and this did the trick! I m new to home stereo systems so I m sure there is probably a gauge of wire that I m supposed to be using, but so far this has worked great! The case of it is easy to cut to expose wires and it seems like it will be nice and weatherproof. Good construction and keeps the bends in the wire!
decent , doesn t get hot , the length is just what I needed.
At first glance I thought there was no way this is 16 ga, but after unsheathing, stripping and measuring I was surprised to see it was. Twisted strands measured 0.064+/- as defined by wire gauge standards. The overall reduction in bulk is probably related to thinner insulation and outer sheath thickness. This has performed well on my re-wired 40 y/o bench lathe. Higher draw uses may require a more HD cable. My 1/4 HP electric motor only draws 4.8A.
Excellent wire and insulation. Wire is tinned and super easy to solder. Very flexible. Used it to replace a control cord on a hospital type bed lift.
